Daytime Television for the Stay at Home Parent

So you are a stay at home parent. How blessed you are to be able to spend every waking minute with your little ones. Honestly, it is a blessing.
But sometimes stay at home parents find themselves positively desperate for adult time. Do not feel guilty, hours and hours of peek-a-boo, cartoons, and sing-a-longs are enough to wear on even the most patient parent’s nerves. Thank God for daytime television.
The options are endless when it comes to daytime TV shows allowing parents to pick their poison. Do you like news shows? Talk shows? Sitcoms? Game shows? Soap Operas?
You can relax and giggle with Kathie Lee and Hoda during the 4th hour of the Today Show if you just need adult time.

These are just a couple of the many possibilities when it comes to daytime entertainment. Luckily, daytime television is much more diverse and fulfilling than it used to be. Parent’s listen up! Do not make yourself feel guilty about stealing an hour here or there to chill out and give yourself a break in front of the television. You are with your kids all the time and you deserve a break.
